I’ve been using it to message patrons and post updates, and overall it works well. The only thing is the notifications feel a little random sometimes, though I can’t say for sure if that’s the app or just something on my end. Either way, it’s still been useful for keeping in touch with people.

The policy stuff was mostly easy enough to understand and get through. I didn’t feel too overwhelmed by it, which I appreciated. Overall, it left me feeling comfortable with the process.

I mostly use Patreon to keep up with smaller creators, and for that, it does the job well. If someone shares a link on social media, it’s easy enough to click through, browse their posts, and support them if you want to. I’ve found a few creators I probably would’ve lost track of otherwise. That said, the discovery side on Patreon itself could be better. Common sense says people should be able to find new creators without already knowing exactly who they’re looking for, but sometimes it feels like things are a little buried. Still, overall it’s a solid platform and useful if you’re trying to follow or support creators more directly.

The payouts just feel a bit too slow. I don’t mind waiting a little, but it’d be way better if the money came through faster.

I really like that Patreon lets me change my membership tiers whenever I need to. It’s reassuring to know I’m not locked into one setup forever, especially when I’m still figuring out what works best. Offering different benefits feels simple, and it doesn’t make the whole thing feel overwhelming or confusing.

Support did get back to me, but it felt slower than expected, and I was seriously wondering if I should do a chargeback. The refund did come through in the end, so it wasn’t a total bad experience. I just think it should be easier and more obvious, right?

I paid to access the posts, but sometimes things load really late... or they just aren’t there at all? It’s kind of frustrating when you’re expecting the content to be available and it doesn’t show up properly.
